About Code & Coffee ☕ by CarGDev
Welcome to Code & Coffee, a self-hosted corner of the internet built and maintained by Carlos Gutierrez—full-stack developer, homelabber, and tinkerer who codes for fun (and breaks stuff just to fix it better).
This site is where I share my projects, thoughts, and learnings across the tech stack—whether that’s deploying self-hosted tools, writing scripts, automating tasks, or exploring ideas for future indie products.
I launched this blog in April 2025 to:
- Document my homelab journey and evolving setup
- Share thoughts on software, systems, and the stuff in between
- Explore ideas like building indie SaaS tools or using AI in creative ways
Everything here is self-hosted—from the blog itself to my Git repos at git.cargdev.io. I like owning my tools, keeping things close to the metal, and staying curious.
⚠️ Heads up: the blog might be down occasionally—still optimizing uptime. That’s life on bare metal.

This blog runs on Ghost in Docker, hosted on a Ryzen-powered workstation and backed by a Mini PC acting as storage and backup. Everything I do is about learning by doing—and I share what I learn along the way.
